News Reporter working on story about college financial aid...

Hi all-- I'm a reporter in the Washington bureau for Hearst Argyle Television (www.hearstargyle.com-- we cover Washington for 28 ABC, NBC, and CBS affiliates around the country). I'm working on a story about paying for college-- what are the options, how easy/tough is it to get financial aid, etc. Are any of you guys currently trying to navigate the financial aid system? I'm looking to interview a parent or student who is in the midst of figuring out how to pay for a college education (or even someone who has just been through the process). This interview would be included in a news report that will air in about two weeks.
