Can you be more specific? Is there a particular state you might be interested in?

No specific one in mind. I think most people go in the spring, summer, or fall. I just wondered whether any of the famous ones are worth visiting in the winter. We would want to hike though.

SNP is open as long as there isn't snow, but the lodges are closed thanksgiving through March.

Glacier is actually more popular in the winter.

Sequoia & Kings Canyon-- for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, etc. Yellowstone has limited parts open but VERY cold & snowy.

The ones in Hawaii are probably fine.

Big Bend. It's prime season is Nov-March.
