| My goddaughter just turned 15 and wants rings, gold or silver, anyone know what's in these days? |
| Earthy, dainty rings. Try etsy for some inspiration! Small bezeled stones, and very simple. |

I would ask her what she likes. (Personally, I liked a Claddagh ring at that age, but that may hold no significance for her.)
(Also, don't be surprised if this post gets moved to the teenager forum.) |

Thanks! I didn't even know there was a teenager forum!!
So the easy ones I'm finding are pretty well priced, I can get a few different styles. But should I worry about them shipping from so far away? I was thinking this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/214441367/copper-brass-adjustable-ring-made-in?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=rings&ref=sr_gallery_2# https://www.etsy.com/listing/189033528/r001412-stylish-sterling-silver-ring?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=rings&ref=sr_gallery_32 https://www.etsy.com/listing/184688355/arrow-ring-in-sterling-silver-925?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=rings&ref=sr_gallery_28 |
| Love the second two!! The first one is a little much, imo. |
|
Can't you give her some money so that she can buy herself exactly what she wants? I remember being offered my choice of ring at that age - I took one whole year of looking at jewelry shops (before the age of the internet) before making my choice. I was that picky. |
| Platinum signet ring with her initial. |
I feel the complete opposite. The first one is appropriate for a teenager, the second two are just too much and look cheap. |
| PP again - I love everything at that Jamber Jewels site, now I want to buy something! |

Hey OP if you're nervous about etsy, there are some cute ones at Nordstrom - $26 for 3

| I like the second Etsy one. |

Stackables are great because you can add to the collection. Starting a tradition is fun! She can switch them around or organized them on different fingers. I've always called my DD my "star baby" so I would choose something with that motif. An arrow is a good symbol. I appreciate when there's a story that accompanies a piece of jewelry. My children wear amulet necklaces (scarab and ankh), which I enjoy. Stick with sterling. |

How about something silver from Tiffany?
I like this olive branch ring: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?mcat=&sku=GRP06620&siteid=1&cid=287466&search=0&origin=browse&search_params=p+1-n+10000-c+287466-s+5-r+101323338-t+-ni+1-x+-lr+0-hr+-ri+-mi+-pp+2380+6&fromgrid=1&searchkeyword= The "love" ring is appropriate for a 15 year old: http://www.tiffany.com/Shopping/Item.aspx?fromGrid=1&sku=GRP08140&mcat=&cid=287466&search_params=p+1-n+10000-c+287466-s+5-r+101323338-t+-ni+1-x+-lr+0-hr+-ri+-mi+-pp+494+10&search=0&origin=browse&searchkeyword= |
