Why is this always so hard?!
How many pizzas for 20 kids and 45 adults? Let's assume large pizzas cut into 10 slices each... DCUM help me out!! |
I'd say 10. |
| How old are the kids? I would assume 2 pieces for the adults and 1.5 for each kids, which gives 120 slices or 12 pizzas at 10 slices a pie. |

If a large pizza is 14", a large pizza will feed about 3-4 adults and 4-5 kids.
So you're looking at anywhere between 15-20 pizzas. I'd go for 17. I like pizza. -Signed, Used to work at a pizza place. |

And honestly, kids who are 3 to 8 years old can pack away pizza in minutes. You'd get plain cheese for them, so that's partly why.
for the adults you might get 1 or 2 toppings, which makes the pizza hearty. You will need more than you think, so I'd go with 17 (hey, that person is a pizza pro, always listen to the pro) - 10 plain cheese and then 4 pepperoni and 3 vege pizzas. the adults will eat a mixture of all 3, the kids will eat plain cheese. For 2 or 3 of the cheese ones, if you have under 5's in the mix, cut the cheese pizza into thinner slices. It comes with 8 pieces, make it be 16 pieces. Because many kids will eat 4 bites and then be "done" and they won't waste a whole piece. Other kids love to have "two" and in this way they have 2, but reasonable sizes so less thrown away. And of course, if it's a 1st grader or up, they get a real adult piece, not those skinny pieces. Have fun! |
| most kids I know love pepperoni npizza, so why are you banishing them from it? |
