| Have these been released? When will they be released if not already? |
| No. We've been told not to expect them until winter (e.g. December at earliest) because this is the first year under PARCC. |
| Schools may be getting preliminary raw data in a few weeks. |
I think they already have preliminary data. |
| I would like to see more justification given for why an electronic test takes nine months to score. I'd also like to see the Financials for the genius companies scoring it.a |
Agreed. We should have had access before the school lottery too. |
You mean before the tests were taken? You did have access to the May 2014 scores in February 2015, but not to the results of the future tests given in April and May 2015. |
| Ohio PARCC scores are in. They were so low that the state changed the Proficiency cut score. |
Nope. Not for another few months! |
Google Pearson Annual Report. You can also search for the NYT piece about the high-caliber of those reviewing narrative writing. |
| It was made clear that the PARCC scores would basically not be counted for kids or schools this year because it was the roll out. I wouldn't "judge" any school based on the PARCC from last year. If the kids did well, part of that could well be because they did a lot of specific prep on the computers. I found the sample questions to be confusing. The math especially was unnecessarily wordy and more like logic problems than math problems. |

I meant to say before the enrollment deadlines. |
The enrollment deadline was May 1. Testing was not complete by this date. |
| I think they are trying to figure out a way to spin the probably even more abysmal results for many DCPS schools. |
