Mine does too. |

Mine wears bras with them. I did buy her this year a bandeau style bra to wear with some of the tank tops and tube tops. But in the summer, she'll wear them with her bikini top.
Any recommendations for a tall 13 year old? My kid is 5'8 and wants to wear the itty bitty shorts and tops that her much shorter friends wear. We try Pac Sun, Hollister etc and the shorts are so so short on her. |
| How tall is she? When my very petite daughter was that age and too skinny for short 000 pants, we had better luck at Abercrombie kids, because a lot of the clothes looked stylish but not revealing, and the pants and jeans come with an adjustable waist and slim sizes. (Eg instead of size 15/16 she would buy 13/14 long). Sometimes Zara kids works too. Now that DD is older she can finally wear the xxs and 000 sizes at hollister and American eagle. |

I’ll keep writing it. Brandy Melville top executives have been accused of sexual assault and bringing 18 years old employees to their NYC apartment where the girls wake up in the morning without remembering anything.
A group chat of about 30 top company executives was leaked that revealed pages of Nazi propaganda. The word “Hitler” was found in more than 150 screenshots, including a t-shirt that read “Hitler,” a picture of a literally starving woman wearing a sash that said, “Miss Auschwitz 1943” and an image of Hitler with the words “Premio Nobel per la brace” — which translates to “Nobel Prize for barbecue.” Just an example, there’s much more. I don’t see the appeal of those shapeless shirts someone linked from Brandy Melville but there are better quality tops in any teen store. Anytime someone recommends Melville I would tell them to research the men in control of this company. |
Actually, Zara (which I think 3 links on the list were) is a very popular children’s brand in Europe as well as America |
Zara is appropriate for Europe. Not this other crap. |
Please shut up. Nobody cares. The Europeans I was kayaking with at Lake Powell who wore tight bedazzled jeans and Hugo Boss polos to do this activity in late July also looked very European. |
Any American teen clothes are appropriate as long as they are comfortable and the clothes fit properly. So many Americans, especially ones with some extra weight, wear clothes 2-3 sizes too small. It’s really hot in West Europe! |
Agree!!! This is a funny argument to read as a person traveling in Europe at the moment- about half the local (guessing by those speaking local language) teenage girls I see are wearing Brandy Melville! I passed a Brandy Melville shop as well and there were many teenage girls inside. |
Spend money at AE on a growing girl is not smart. Brandy is fine as most girls aren't looking for long term staples yet. They are looking for trends they will grow out of physically and mentally. |
