Pet sitter left something behind. Would you ask?

That doesn't make sense. The plug in the guest room in inside the side table, also my dog doesn't do that. There is a charger plugged in in the living room and has never been chewed. She stayed over for 15 days. She was sleeping in the guest room. Of course I will give it back! I just wanted to know if it would be odd for me to ask.

She slept in your room, not the guest room. Give it back

+1 i wonder what op will say when the devious pet sitter breaks down and admits she was charging her phone while spending time with Bobo. Hopefully she will report back so she can receive advice on how to proceed. Perhaps she can leave a one star review that the sitter spent time with her dog and charged her phone. People who hire pet sitters need to be warned!

Block her number, keep the charger.

Could she have used your bathroom and charged her phone while in there? Perhaps your guest bathroom wasn't adequate for her makeup or hair routine.

I’d say what others have suggested - don’t see it in the kitchen, living room or guest room. Wait for reply.

Why play games? OP has the charger, and as discussed above given the circumstances -- that the pet sitter was there for 15 days -- it is not some horrible thing that she was in that bedroom. Just give the damn charger back.

That sounds v very accusatory. Just say didn't see it in the guest bedroom.

Was the sitter specifically told not to go in your bedroom or to only keep the pet in certain rooms? Was the door closed?

If No, then who cares.

If Yes, then……well still who cares

Say “I’ll look around and get back to you”

If you really feel compelled to return it, put it in your/her mailbox and say nothing about where found.
Never use her again.
Wash your sheets.

That’s right/ never use her again, use one of the other widely available individuals who you trust to live in your home and care for your pets for FIFTEEN DAYS. Haha. If you think that using the plug next to your bed is a deal breaker, I can’t begin to tell you what people are going to do in your house that will shock you when they live there for 2 weeks.

Things like use the best bathroom in the house (probably the master!). Sleep in the best bed (yours!). Put their feet on your couch. Browse all of the books on your shelf. Use your Netflix account. You are going to have to accept this, or, board your pet.

And this is if you get a normal person who doesn’t mind doing this for 2 weeks. (Most people don’t want to live in your house for 2 weeks so if they DO, it’s probably because they have some inner curiosity about other people’s homes or think your home is nicer than theirs, so, they’ll want to USE IT while they’re there.) you’re just as likely to get someone who is going to steal all your medications and run an escort service out of your bedroom

Change your sheets, but it’s not a big deal. Your bed is probably more comfortable than the guest bed.

OP. You are a royal PITA.

I love this answer.

Why is that gross?

I can't think of a normal reason for this.

I'd have to let her know I didn't find it in the guest room and ask where she may have left it. A forthcoming answer would likely show no guilt- that her and the pet were asexually but codependently on your bed (or it could show bizarre guest-entitlement and no self awareness).
