The motivation of Islamic hijackers and suicide bombers is to kill others who are infidels —people who will not submit to their (false) god. They see themselves as warriors at war with an enemy.
People who know that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God, who know it the same as knowing that the sky is blue, will be killed rather than lie and say Jesus is not the son of God.
Once you see that God is real, you cannot unsee it, the same as you cannot deny the sky is blue.
Jesus warned in Matthew 10:33
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
Every religion thinks their religion is the true one.
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law…shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another (Romans 2:14)
God has given humans a conscience, which is what separates man from beast.
The non-Jewish peoples—Gentiles, who were not given the law by God as he did to Moses, created religions to express this conscience. At the heart of every religion is some truth because it expresses the law written in the heart of every person.
However, just because a religion codifies a truth from the law that God wrote into our hearts, does not make that religion the “True Religion”.
All religions cannot be the true one because they all deny or contradict the claim of Jesus in John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Every religion except true Christianity (Mormonism is another gospel not true), including Judaism, which Jesus called the Synagogue of Satan, is antichrist; therefore a lie but containing some truth.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22)
FYI The pope is not an antichrist because no pope has ever denied (at least not publicly) that Jesus is the Christ.
