I actually followed this shit show a while back and I am wondering if Rachel contributed to this take down article. They leave out the part about how his money helped her build her empire and her empire was built on stealing quotes, recycling ideas and a bunch of BS aimed at vulnerable women.

I thought his substance abuse ended the marriage, but regardless, what kind of jerk posts about your bad sex life to the world after you tried to sell your perfect marriage to your vulnerable followers through videos, books and presentations?

I admit I was intrigued by her narcissism and people's willingness to follow this idiot. He seemed more down to earth at the beginning of the divorce, but I see it was likely an act and they both had narc traits.

Very sad for the kids who seem like genuinely great young people.

Sure social media was his downfall, but narcs often will fall due to the trait so if it weren't social media, it would have been something else without the proper help. He did get help though.

It says she didn't. Given that it's the WSJ, I'd assume that's true at least on face. Of course, it doesn't mean she didn't give other people her blessing/encouragement to cooperate.

Dave was absolutely a cautionary tale and some people’s responses to his death (like some on this post) are incredibly sad. Calling an addict a loser? I’m 100% sure Dave didn’t want to die of an overdose and leave his children and other loved ones behind. He was addicted to drugs.

She's hidden her number of "likes" and is way less active on social media. I thikn what did her in was her weird speech being derogatory about her housecleaner.

That is basically what the article is about. How the darkest parts stay hidden and there’s more and more pressure to create a positive image online even if it means obscuring the truth.

I think this would be a good article for any teens to read before they use social media.
