County wide honors band

Does anyone have a child in the MS or HS honors band? What's the practice/travel commitment? Is it a good time? TIA

My child was in the MS Honors Orchestra last year- the orchestra and the band had the same schedule. It was 3-4 practices over a two week period, and then a concert. This year's schedule is already up on the school system's website. My son enjoyed it and plans to audition again this year.
