| I'm looking for recommendations for a good peds dentist in the Petworth/Columbia Heights area. My daughter is 4 y/o. Thanks! |

| Not in the area you have mentioned, but our dentist, who we like a lot, is Dr. Alan Kuwabara in Tenleytown. We wanted to use the famous one in Friendship Heights (where they paint the nails; the name escapes me) but they were all booked and recommended Dr. K. He has been excellent for our kids! |

| The "famous one" where they paint the nails (but don't accept insurance--cash/credit card/check only--is Dr. Dana Waldman. She's great, and the toys, nailpolish, etc. make my kids (who've been seeing her since age 3) think that seeing the dentist is completely fun. Good for preventing "anti-dentite-ism"! They also really take her advice (no chewy candy!) to heart--they think of her like a teacher who they are supposed to obey. |
