Good quality smaller bottles of wine

My Dh and I are not big drinkers. On occasion we would like to enjoy a glass of wine, but we don't always feel like having some the next few nights to use up the bottle and often we end up with bad wine and throw it out. I've frozen some for beef stews, but I don't need that much stocked in my freezer.

The smaller bottles of wine in the beer/wine store nearby are pretty mediocre, all seem to be the same brand.

Is there any store you can recommend (in MoCo) with decent half/small bottles of wine or any particular type you like?

Just FYI, those are called 'half bottles,' as they're 375 mL instead of 750 mL. (Unless you're talking about individual servings of sparkling wines, which are half the size of a half bottle, and called a 'split.')
