The go-to names in seeking modern chairs, especially mid-century, are Eames, Knoll, Saarinen, Herman Miller, etc... |

| Go to ikea, CB2, or west elm and sit in chairs. Buy what's comfortable. |

Go to Room and Board and sample chairs. I found one that was comfy and gorgeous fir my 5'2" height. My 5'9" DH disagreed on the comfort factor.

It's beautiful, but visit in persona and park your fanny in it. The proof is in the tush and how comfy it is to sit in. |

Looks like a sad version of the wishbone chair or some odd modern version of a shaker chair. Also looks miserable to sit on. |

It is beauuuuutiful. I love the lines. So distinct and tasteful. But I didn't find it comfortable and had to sadly pass. |
