Need bed low to the ground for preschooler that moves around a lot

I have a preschooler currently sleeping on a mattress pad on the carpet. She moves around a lot while sleeping. I find her almost always not on the mattress pad, sometimes in one corner of the room.

The beds I've seen so far are all at least 12 inches off the ground.
Some day beds look to be lower to the ground but selection very limited.

How about beds with guardrails? Any brands? I'm looking to spend less than 1k if possible for the bed frame.

Where should I look? I tried places like Pottery Barn, Room and Board, Ikea, Havertys, Ashleys, Wayfair.com, Sleepys.

For now I'd just put a mattress on the floor. This phase won't last long and when it does you won't want such a low bed.

We have a mattress and box spring in the floor, even when my son falls off he doesn't wake up

It is $39 plus the bed slats. They make plastic bins to fit under the bed for storage. We added a few extra boards to the headboard and painted it. Looks nice. You could also trim the legs to make them shorter. We put pillows and have a carpet under it. Kid only fell out a few times and no big deal.

Just saw this one and the Tarva model today at the CP Ikea. Both looked better in person than on-line. The Fjellse (the above link) is very short/near the ground.

Or get this one (it's a trundle and it's practically on the ground) and then just keep it as a guest bed when your toddler is ready to move to a regular bed.

Once you paint it, it looks much better than it does online or even in person. It took a good primer and a few coats but we did a very bright color. We've had ours 4 years and still in almost new shape. Its low to the ground.
