Why the deletion of the climate change thread?

Tone was slightly belligerent, but didn't seem worth deleting over.

Not my thread, but was going to respond with some of the science - if folks are asking questions, even angrily, I see that as an opening for education. Especially on a forum like this one where you might not reach the OP but some other reader might learn something.

What is one person's "slightly belligerent" is another's "expletive-filled". The post was moronic in the first place. There are plenty of other fora on the Internet for posts of that tone. I have no interest in having them here.
