Replacing range with kitchen renovation in a couple years

Is there any drawback to replacing a kitchen range when we might be redoing the kitchen in a few years and changing the layout? Range is a standard size. Hood needs to be replaced too but I can see why we wouldn't do
that now. The range works sort of okay but oven heats unevenly |

| It's fine. Appliances can be replaced at any time. There's not reason to time it around a renovation as long and you're not planning on changing the size of the appliance. |
