Fibroids

I have been told I have 2 fibroids that are at the top of my uterine cavity (uggghhh). RE is guessing they are in the way of implantation so need to be removed. I think/hope that they are relatively small; one is 2.5cm & one is 1.5 cm. I meet with the RE again next week but am looking for any advice or experiences with having uterine cavity fibroids removed. How was the recovery & how long did you have to wait to ttc afterwards? Thanks

I had a couple removed about 3-4 years ago. The recovery was minor, because they went in vaginally and did not need to make any incisions. I was home and quiet for 1 day after the surgery, then fine. Doc told me to wait at least 6 months to ttc.

They could not fully remove 1 fibroid because it was in the uterine wall and could have caused scarring. I am currently 6 months pregnant now. I wish you luck.
