Don't know a ton about the school, but i do know that they have top notch technology in the classroom. They have elmo machines, pramethium (sp?) boards, ect, and they are used. Its one of the model schools for MoCo in terms of technology. The school that I am working at organized a visit there to see the technology in use and learn from them. |
What's an elmo machine? I'm thinking a machine in the shape of Elmo, but that doesn't seem right ![]() |

College Gardens is a school? I've never heard of it, and I've lived in DC almost my whole life. |

From the website: About College Gardens Elementary School In August of 2007 College Gardens Elementary became authorized as the first International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) in the state of Maryland. PYP is the elementary version of the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) program. In January 2008 the College Gardens' staff and students moved into a brand new state-of-the-art school located at 1700 Yale Place in Rockville, Maryland.
