Two boys - 7 and 10 years old. They are always in the sun and I want them to have sunglasses on. Need something stylish, durable, effective and not costing a ton.

^^ and also 100% UV protection.

Try rei. They have kids sunglasses and the prices aren't bad.

The kind that they will wear. Honestly, don't over think this. Take them to the store and have them try them on. You can also get sports type sunglasses at an eyeglass shop. I've bought so many pairs of sunglasses and my son will not wear them.

cheap ones that they can lose. How "stylish" do they need to be?

Yes. They meet the UV safety requirements. Peppers is a common brand there that's not too expensive.

We like Ray-bans but they aren't cheap. Way cool though.

Not OP, but where on earth do you go to have them try them on? We looked at CVS and Target and what we found were little kid glasses. Where do you go to find ES aged kid glasses (without characters - just plain old glasses).

I see REI was suggested. Anywhere else? I have my son wearing a smallish pair of mine right now, as he hates all the ones designed for kids.
