Wallpaper removal question

Anonymous
I peeled all of the wallpaper off of my drywall kitchen walls. It came off easily in big sheets. According to google, this was vinyl "strippable wallpaper." Now the wall has a slightly fuzzy texture -- not sure how else to describe it. Do I need to scrape it or can I just prime over it? If I spray something all over the walls, won't it mess up the drywall? Not sure what to do. It looks like it may have been painted prior to being wallpapered but that just may be the original drywall. Any tips appreciated!

What you're seeing that's fuzzy is the glue. All you have to do is wet the wall down with a pump sprayer and then scrape the glue sheets off with a plastic scraper. Very easy. The water will not hurt the walls. They dry very fast.

You might try using DIF or a similar product to help get rid of the glue. It's a tedious but not difficult process.
