Why are pillows so expensive?? Has anyone found a place to purchase affordable yet comfortable pillows? I love the Westin Heavenly pillows, which we had and they only lasted a couple of years. |
Ew, you should replace your pillows every two years at a minimum. |
I just bought some good ones at costco. They have a few different kinds. I didn't need anything too fancy so I got a 2 pack for about $20 |
I just got theses too and they are really comfortable. |

Dust mites people! Pillows get heavier every year due to live and dead dustmites and their excrement. Ikea and marshals/tjmaxx have cheap pillows. |
I really was pleasantly surprised with my IKEA pillows. Cheap and comfortable. |
Thanks all for the tips! Do people seriously replace their pillows every 2 years religiously?? I am very good about washing my pillows but 2 years seems extreme.
Thanks for the tips on Costco and IKEA, I will definitely check those out!! |
Wasteful and bad for the planet. Use a pillow protector. |
I don't buy washable pillows (memoryfoam), so yes, I replace them every 2 years. I get that it's wasteful but they'd be really disgusting if I kept them longer. Pillow protectors only do so much - and the plastic kind make too much noise and are HOT. |
We're talking about bed pillows, right? I confess to replacing about every three months. I do not bother washing my pillows. I semi recycle as the two new pillows I use for sleeping and the older two pillows I use with shams for a few months. I buy pillows at Tuesday Morning or TJ!axx/Marshalls |
