Absolutely new to planting/gardening

Please help me a little with starting. I got a few plants from Safeway. Watering them for now. When do I re-pot? How? Where should I buy new pots? How to keep them alive? Thanks!

Are these indoor plants? You can buy pots everywhere - HomeDepot, Lowes, gardening stores...etc. Don't water too much (once a day should be good) and make sure water drains.

Yes, indoor plants. I just put a plate under them for now because they leak when I water. When do I need to re-pot?

A lot of plants now days come with a little QR barcode on the little plastic tag that lists the type of plant. You use your smartphone to take a pic of the barcode and it will take you directly to a website with specific info on how to care for that plant.

Why so anxious to re-pot? Is pot too small? You can re-pot anytime. Go get a (bigger) pot and some potting soil. Fill the bottom of new pot with some potting soil and put the plant in. Put more potting soils around and gently pack it down. Put some mulch on top if you have it. Water it thru and you are done.

That'd be nice. As long as you have something to catch the water, you can use whatever. GL.

WAY too much. Once a week max. depending on soil. The biggest mistake most people make with indoor plants is to overwater them. Tough the soil. If dry, stick finger in an inch - if still moist, don't water. And don't let pots sit in water after 20 minutes either.

Depending on soil. Potting soils don't retain water much.
