Anyone have any idea what a Catholic school nurse makes? Would love to work for a Catholic school but I have a feeling the salary is terrible.
I have a feeling you are correct. What is the school/diocese?
Many go without nurses, or have part time nurses working 4 hours a day.
Ours is a retired RN who volunteers half days.
Considering my RN mom used to volunteer at my school, I'd guess zero.
Arlington Diocese. No school yet just curious if anyone had an idea of the salary range... It's probably practically volunteer work ha
Just about everyone volunteers their time there, so treat them well.
Is it on their website? My nurse mom used to volunteer at my Catholic school when our regular nurse was sick. |
Most Arlington Diocese schools have a full time nurse - it really depends on the size of the school. Unsure about salary, but probably much less than working in an ER.
Our school provides a $50 tuition stipend per day for working about 4 hours per day. One mom who also teaches nursing classes online for Phoenix does almost every day as she can get her online work done while in the office. Its a good deal for her but without having the online gig, not worth it. It basically works out as free tuition for her four kids.
OP I believe its in the neighborhood of $15 per hour. But you usually get tuition discount along with it which is why its such an attractive option for certain moms.
Wow. Some nannies earn $25+ per hour, but of course that work is extremely isolating. |
I earn appr. $25/hr as a teacher.
I'd bet it's better in the high schools.
Again remember that you usually get a tuition break with this kind of job, and often health insurance. |
