Why are chairs so expensive?

They cost about 70% of a sofa and just seat one person! Where can I find affordable modern chairs for the living room?

Seriously! I saw a modern table at Room and Board for 1600 that seats 6. But chairs were 450 each, adding 2700 to the cost!!

Try world market. They have amazing chairs and they're all in stock. Mine were $99 each.

You think chairs are expensive? Try sitting on the floor for a month. Then you will realize that they are worth every penny.
