If you do not have a problem with the kid knowing that people can be promiscuous, it is fine. If not 10, by 13 it is fine. |

It is fine. It is a gentle show with characters who model good committed friendship.
Yes, they have sex, but ten year olds can understand more than you think, and watching a show won't undermine any values you may be teaching. It is just tv. No one wants to be the kid who doesn't understand what everyone is talking about at school. |

It really depends on the episode. My children (10 and 5) have seen the space toilet episode, which is really hilarious, and they've seen snippets of others, so they know the characters and basic storyline. I may be old-fashioned, but I wouldn't show certain scenes to my 10 year old. So he doesn't get a free pass to watch everything BBT-related. |
