Praying for the maximum. Unfortunately even with the maximum sentence he'll still be prime abuser age when he gets out. Anything the U.S. Attorney can do to delay his having any access to kids is a good thing.

I think it's actually 2 years total, because the sentences of 6 months and 2 years will run concurrently. He also gets credit for the 3 months he has already served, so he would be out in the summer of 2017. 10 years of supervision will follow his release. Detail from DC Courts website below.

How did you know the judge was "softy"? Have you had a personal experience with him/her?

Look at other cases. Some don't get jail time. I think it's fair.
