Really bad head cold?

Went down south to take my daughter to college. Mind you I haven't been sick in over a year. On the way home, started to feel tired. Next day sore throat, started with Zinc spray. Sore throat for three days, third day started to get congested. The congestion on day 5 is so thick nothing is breaking through it. I'm literally choking sometimes. No cough but I do get chills sometimes.

I'm hoping this will start to taper off in a couple days. Anyone else?

Sounds like what's gone through our house. It's s really bad summer cold. Seemed to drag on for days . Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you. The good news is the boys don't start school until next week. And they are teenagers and easy! I can focus on resting.

I came on like a cold, so I'm not looking for elephants.

That's why I wanted to know if others haven't experienced it. Probably a coronavirus, as it's pretty nasty.
