Lamps - worth buying expensive ones

| Only if you don't have young kids. I've been buying Target table lamps for my house and they get knocked over by my kids throwing something around about once a month so I don't really care if they start to look a little lopsided because I didn't pay much for them. |

If you want both looks AND reasonable quality, you will have to pay for it. I choose to pay for the things I want and teach my kids not to destroy stuff. They are generally good kids so it works. |
