awesomely cheesy clothes, wild plots, and yes murder!

I used to love Hart to Hart. I wanted to be Stephanie Powers.

I didn't really watch that show with any regularity, but I love homages to Hart to Hart in other shows.

(I'm also glad that they seem like such a happy couple still.)

I loved watching Hart to Hart!! In the 80's, I always tried to style my hair like Stephanie Powers - lol!

Pre-kids my DH bought a convertible and we had a cute dog who rode around with us. I was always thinking about channeling Hart to Hart.

I used to watch that show growing up and liked the interaction between Robert Wagener and Stephanie Powers but man, then I saw a show about how Natalie Wood's sister really thinks Wagener really drowned his wife Natalie Wood on that boat and ... I can't really watch him in stuff anymore. He seems like another guy with an anger problem.

I used to run into her in LA about 10 years ago. She is actually better looking in real life.

You now it was extremely tragic when Natalie Wood died. And I'm sure that she and Wagener were drinking and fighting, but if you read the coroner report, there's no indication that she was physically assaulted or purposefully drowned:

She has a few random bruises on her that who knows, could have happened when she fell off the dingy into the water or tripped on the gang plank. Just b/c a family member has difficulty grieving and had a public forum to accuse and denounce someone, doesn't mean it's true or that they're guilty.

I always wondered why anyone would go to a party the Harts were invited to. Someone ALWAYS got killed.

Well it's not just Wood's sister. The ship captain came forward in 2011 and said he didn't say so at the time, but he thinks Wagener was responsible. They reopened the investigation, but Wagener wouldn't talk to the police, so they couldn't get enough info to charge him all these years later. http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2015/03/natalie-wood-drowning-robert-wagner-criminal-charges-unlikely/

I loved their playful marriage, the Harts. Smitten, sexy, trusting...sigh.

I was more of a Remington Steele girl back in the early '80s moment, but I was out of work this past January and stayed up late watching Hart to Hart. It reeled me in with its carefree, breezy style and great chemistry between Wagner and Powers. It was kind of jarring to then see Wagner in NCIS this season - an old man with a wavering voice...but did I still see that twinkle in his eye? I think so!
