After buying your new home, where did you find good deals on quality furniture? We will be keeping a lot of our old stuff, but we have a couple of new added rooms (e.g., basement). Appreciate your input! Anywhere in the DC area.

Belfort furniture out in Sterling - they have everything.

Hamilton sofas on Route 7 in Bailey's/Seven Corners - I have bought a couple of sofas there.

I like farmer's markets for unique pieces like antique dressers and end tables and salvage art pieces.

Ordered two rugs (8x10), one from Home Depot and one from Overstock. Each was about $300 and they look great and are wearing well.

I just did curtains from Target because the place I loved for curtains is closed. (expo home goods.) Keep an eye on Marshall's/TJ Maxx for accent pieces.
