Can anyone recommend a place to get a nice bright-colored summer purse? Of course I can check department stores, but I am looking for something interesting and maybe a bit cheaper.

Ross or Marshalls. You can get a rainbow of purses for $300.

I have good luck at Mazza area Loehmans and Filenes for bags. Do not get a fake leather bag.
