Is this in violation of the Terms and Conditions for Go Fund Me? For Twitter? BTW, for making a similar observation to this one, my post was deleted from this thread. Why? Will this post stand?
Seems like it might be working, the GoFundMe donations are picking up, $280 just yesterday...
The totals I have are $51,700 on 11/29, $51,970 on 11/30/17, and $51,980 as of right now on 12/1/17. People want to help someone in need. They don't realize they are being extorted.
They got a nice chunk of donations since coming back to Georgetown, DC for the Holiday season - GoFundMe is now (12/4/17) at $52,240.
The good news is that he didn’t seem to net any revenue from his Twitter fraud. Elyse received 3 donations from people she apparently made a personal appeal to. One guy gave $200 in a pay-it-forward gesture for a friend recently deceased from cancet. Think of how disillusioned that guy will be if he ever discovers the scam. A little arithmetic: Go Fund Me has raised $52,240 in 65 months. That averages about $803/month. Jason claimed to have made $100,000 last year. That is about $8,333/month. $8,333-$803 = $7,530 from orher sources including on-site donations. I wonder how else he “earns” money.
