I loved the Holderness video on this, where she said at the end, "what is wrong with me I'm not usually into this kind of stuff." That's me, too. I normally just don't care, but some reason I'm really into this and hoping they continue to be happy!

I don't listen to Taylor's music or follow her in general and aside from knowing who Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid are, I barely know anything about the KC Chiefs. So, I'm not sure why I'm so vested in this story. If I were to guess, it may be because I like the idea that opposites (or seeming opposites) attract and I root for people who came out of a long-term relationship (which apparently they both have) finding someone new who is refreshingly different and possibly making each other a better version of themselves. Victor Oladipo put this relationship in an interesting light when he wrote this:

Cute video. Thank you. The wife is right about the serious things happening and how this is cotton candy for the brain. I am never interested in this type of stuff. I figure my brain needs a distraction from the heaviness of the world.

This is a response to the locked thread that called TS a cancer on the NFL...

Counterpoint: the NFL is a mooch. She's just out living her life.

The NFL, NOT Swift, is promoting her presence there. Never once has she posted anything on Instagram about attending the games or about Kelce. Swift doesn't direct those stadium cameras on herself. Someone in a control booth directs the cam operators to get shots of her. Why? Because TS is popular af and big $$.

I noticed during the Chiefs game that there are at least 2 commercials running on CBS now using TS music in them (one was Survivor & I forgot the other). Even a commercial that played during Sunday Night Football on NBC contained a commercial w/ TS music. Even the SNF crew commented on TS and TC during the game last night. Why? She wasn't there. He wasn't playing.

His jersey shot up in popularity and sold out online at most retailers. Who gets a cut of that money? The NFL. Who is making money when all these Swifties show up to games on the off chance that she might be there? The stadium & the NFL.

You can tell the commentators, especially Al Michaels, hate each time they have to mention her. But guess what, if they didn't want to comment on her, they wouldn't (especially him). There are certain promos/ads and script points that the commentators have to hit. Someone is making them talk about her, even during games where she's not present or the Chiefs aren't playing.

I think she has always carried a torch for Harry. She wrote Question...? about him which included the line "Does everything seem like second-best after that meteor strike?" On the new 1989, I think we are going to get more vault songs about how she really felt strongly about him. But that ship has sailed, he has moved on, and they were not a good match anyway (too alike in some ways, and too different in others).

Well, if I ever dated Harry I'd probably pine after him too. He's like sex on legs, has bucketfuls of charisma, and is also reportedly very funny and kind. What's not to like? He's much more my type than Travis, but Taylor seems happy enough with the new guy.

Olivia destroyed her whole life after being with Harry for just two weeks. Now she’s an unemployed 2x baby mama. Harry definitely has BDE!
