I honestly thought I’d heard of every college in the states. This one is new to me. Is this a D2 school?

Are you kidding me? They used to be decent in the 80s in basketball and they have a decent baseball team. No, they are fantastic at lacrosse, but they are a D1 program and congrats to her.

If you never heard of it, maybe you are the moron

I'm also not this bear person you are referring to so maybe you shouldn't assume everyone is. Either way, a simple answer to a question about a school and the playing abilities of a player has absolutely nothing to do with each other.

This board is full of a bunch of morons. They knew about ST. B they just were trying to take a cheap shot at Pride since she doesn't play for Cap. Shhhh we don't talk about other clubs here because feelings get hurt. The cap parents have a hard time comprehending other girls in the area who are playing lacrosse and are actually good players as well and they have a hard time comprehending that other girls get to play on the next level not just here little angels.

Ummmm no, I asked about the school because I have never heard of it. Sorry to start something. I am happy for any kid who is happy with the school that wants her.

Still comes off as condescending - maybe use google or check out the NCAA rankings here https://www.ncaa.com/rankings/lacrosse-women/d1/ncaa-womens-lacrosse-rpi

Don’t care where it’s ranked on this. Doesn’t make it a well known school.

Just say you don't follow college sports close and leave it at that.

okay so how many people do you know who went there for a college education, not an athlete?

I know personally? Family friend, exec at GE, what’s your point?

Most people who follow sports have heard of the school.

+1. Give it up, PP. It's a known school. Clearly, you didn't know all the schools in all the states.

Bonnies were in the NCAA's 7 of last 11 years. Keep up.

An athletic powerhouse does not equal a good college.

Bonnies have been in the NCAA D1 basketball tournament twice in last 10 years, losing in the first round both times. Do you mean some other NCAA tournament nobody knows anything about?

Maybe go back and look at the forum you're in do you see it is about lacrosse? Ok so now would you care to take another guess at which tournament is being referred to...

I’m having trouble understanding because the women’s lacrosse team has definitely not been in the NCAA tournament 7 of last 11 years.

Maybe go back and look where someone commented they never heard of the school, so them being routine participant in the NCAA men's basketball tournament, which the most watched college sports event every year, is significant.

Wow. That's several D1s for YJMA. I think they have one going to JMU and Longwood.

Congratulations to those girls

YJMA seems to be where some Pride 26s went as well. Interesting! Congratulations to them!
