No longer are private schools focused primarily on teaching critical thinking, fostering intellectual curiosity, and rewarding independent thought. Their new mission is to train a vanguard of activists to lead the charge in tearing down the foundations of society, reminiscent of Maoist China’s Red Guards.

The danger, however, goes far beyond private schools. The same framework called diversity, inclusion, belonging, equity and justice has gained influence in public education, universities, corporate workplaces, the federal government and the military. For the sake of our children and our nation’s future, it must be dismantled.

It's really hard to take someone seriously who assumes most people will see "diversity, including, belonging, equity, and justice" as things that must be dismantled immediately.

It's because you either don't understand or are purposefully ignoring the underlying goals of each of these goals.

Diversity - Where people are selected based on their skin color, AKA racism.

Including/Belonging - Forced association between private parties where at least one party is unwilling to participate in the association, but required to participate.

Equity - The pursuit of equal outcomes while ignoring unequal levels of effort, and disadvantaging parental support for their children to do better. Furthermore, payment transfers from those who have more to those who have less until "equity" has been reached.

Justice - The overarching term used to justify government infringements on liberty and property in the name of diversity, inclusion/belonging, and equity.

To actually teach DEI/crt effectively in school, a class needs to hear the BIPOC students are oppressed by systemic white racism.

The white students must simultaneously be taught they benefit from unearned white privilege. The white students must also learn they are racist through unconscious bias, even if they falsely believe they are not racists. They must also consider how to atone for their racism and the systemic white supremacist system their race constructed and perpetuates.

Then the students in class should look at each other.

This will obviously lead to harmony.

Also how do you win? The person who covers the most squares? What is the assumption here that only white lids grow up in stable 2 parent homes with college educated parents who go to work? This is example of why I don’t back any of the CRT type lessons. They are so bizarre and random but white democrats love it bc it makes them feel woke. Imagine being the non white kids during these classes?

If better more accurate history books are needed, the. get those but skip these nonsense lessons.
The military kids in Oakton are likely to be children of officers.

And college is basically taken care of for them. That's huge.

The GI bill is for four years. So not if you have more than one kid.

Also, officer kids move about every 2-3 years. Enlisted kids might be at the same school for 8 years. Deployments often lead to depression in kids and the parent at home. Coming home has difficult adjustments too. I have no idea why anyone would consider military life a privileged one. Moldy housing, HMO healthcare that civilian doctors don’t even want to accept, absent parents in life threatening jobs…what the hell?

I'm not sure why you find this surprising. This viewpoint is popular on the political right as the GOP base adopts identity politics.

https://www.politico.com/news/2022/01/05/gop-red-wave-critical-race-theory-526523

What the political left feels is helping victims is radicalizing the right. I'm not saying that either viewpoint is correct, but this is what is happening.

Why do you guys deny reality?

Fact: Diversity in terms of discrimination based on race is currently being litigated in front of the Supreme court through the Affirmative Action case.

Fact: Inclusion/Belonging is currently sending shockwaves through the womens sports world due to dominance by transgender women.

Fact: Equity is currently used as the justification for government transfer payments such as those proposed in BBB.

There is a simple factual explanation.
