I don't have a means of merging threads. I can lock and/or delete some and I have been doing that. But, I suspect this will blow over in a few days. Just be patient until then.

NP here but maybe its because it is usually one thread per subject around here. I agree both that you can skip reading them and that it is getting a bit much.

I don't think the poster was puritanical, just bored of seeing the same thing over and over again in the lists (as I am).
