Sao Paolo on a Sunday

Anonymous
Hi DCUMers!

I am traveling to Brazil for work in a few weeks. Though I have meetings/appointments for most of my time there, I am arriving Sunday morning and would like to spend some time seeing the sites.

Having never been I am not sure what the best options for me are. Museums aren't really my style...I would like to walk, see the scenery and architecture, sample local foods and have a drink or two. Any suggestions on where I could spend a few hours? I will likely be by myself - not sure if that's a problem.

My hotel is in Pinheiros.

Thanks!

The Municipal Market is a must see...you can enjoy some great food and drink there. I'm not sure of the hours of operation though...
