The couple shouldn't have been airing this in public but sometimes things do happen and it's not in the right place. That said, do you agree with me that the person posting this blow by blow was wrong in doing so? Especially with pictures.
http://news.yahoo.com/awkward-plane-passenger-live-tweets-couple-083259251.html I have been on the net for a long time and for a variety of reason (this is an example of one of them) I have refused to get involved in social media. So, do you believe Kelly Keegs was wrong in tweeting this? |
| If there wasn't permission given then it's not something that should have been broadcast. What you do alone vs what you do in small company vs what you do with thousands watching is all different. I don't agree with what was done. |
| I think the fact that there are photos and names makes this VERY problematic. |
|
It reminds me of the seinfeld scene where she breaks up with Puddy.
Elaine: What are you doing? Puddy: It's a long flight, Elaine. I had to get on with my life. |

Haha, this! And the other passenger next to them was "vegetable lasagna"! |
| Now I want to know what Charlotte said. |
| New digital age.. |
OP here Yes it is, but those who use social media, is this something that has been deemed as okay? And is it something that happens often? |
|
I hate inappropriate public displays of emotion so I think if they were comfortable putting it out there, then they can suck it up and not act stupid next time. For me it makes no difference that there were 10 people watching compared to kajillions.
It's pretty gross that they kept making out though... wtf wants to kiss a swollen slimy mucousy tear stained face??? |
| Now if she had Periscoped it......that would gone beyond viral. At least for 24 hours, since that app only allows live streaming to be viewed for that long. |
| I think taking pictures crossed the line. but I'm absolutely fine with the live-tweeting. You should never have the expectation of privacy on a plane. And making out? Seriously? it's a plane, not a bar. |
| It's not ok to make out at a bar either. (Unless you're a college junior) |
| I think people can - or should be able to reasonably expect - that their personal business, while possibly overheard by a handful of people, will not be internationally broadcast via Twitter. |
|
With almost every citizen these days owning a cell phone, I just assume that everything I do around other people is fair game.
Do I like it? Hell no. But such is life. |
