Side Effects of HCG Trigger

Hi,

I am wondering for those of you who have done th HCG trigger, what were the side effects like. Today is Friday 4/10 and I did the trigger on 4/3 and for the past few days I've been having pregnancy symptoms, heavy boobs, a bit of bloating and lots of "activity" in my uterus. The activity isn't cramping, sometimes it just feels heavy and other times I feel "activity." I don't know how else to describe it. I'm trying not to analyze every twinge or I tell myself "it's just gas." I've been pregnant before (had to terminate at 11w)

I did Bravelle and I knew which ovary had the mature follicles. We were doing timed intercourse. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, so I was wondering what types of symptoms the rest of you experienced with the HCG trigger.

I got my progesterone number today which was 12.5. The nurse said that was fine. She also told me that I could be pregnant or I could just be experiencing side effects from the HCG.

I did the HCG trigger the day before you, and have also been trying not to analyze every little thing I feel! I have noticed my boobs feel heavy/nipples hurt a little, and yesterday felt cramps in the a.m. that felt like period cramps and then cramps the rest of the day that were more like gas cramps (??!!). I am on a clomid/HCG/IUI protocol, but do not have progesterone monitored, only go for a preg test next thursday. Good luck to you!

I don't want to give you false hope, but most of the research I did said that the HCG shot wears off in either 1 week or 1 day for every 1000 units you take. I would guess most of the HCG has left your system at this point. I know for me, I felt the HCG shot a lot at first and it wore off fairly quickly.

19:17 here - i'm on progesterone and estrace suppositories which can also have some of these side effects...I agree w/PP that the HCG has probably left our systems pretty quickly.
