Costco has them. I bought my DSs at Pottery Barn, but wish I had saved some money and bought it at Costco.

In terms of worth it, we love it. We've had kids over and they've used it. We've had adult guests stay in DD's room and she slept in the bunk. We don't have a guest room (yet) so it's worked well for us.

We bought a bunk bed from http://www.bunkbeds.net/, which I think we found after a search on this forum about where to buy bunk beds.

I don't know why I should have been surprised at the range of choice out there, but you might take a look. I was pleasantly surprised not to have to end up with that rather solid "Pottery Barn" look and we ended up doing a "mondrian" inspired rather modern look in my son's room.

Room & Board has great ones.

Ours came from Amazon.

My kids love their bunk beds, but making them is a horrible pain.

Another one who ordered through Amazon. Twin over full, and then the storage steps up with full railing. Love them, but it took a solid 3 days for DH and I to assemble (and we are expert assemblers). However, we took full advantage of snow days last winter to put it together!

We have them and I hate them. They occupy a lot of visual space and are a PITA to make.

I would get a trundle.
