How often do you give lunchables for school or camp?

I just discovered them this summer. They were a life saver this summer. How bad are they?
Anonymous
Really unhealthy. Our private banned them.

You can make your own with healthier meats and cheeses.

I'd probably do precut cheese, lunch meat and crackers to cut down on cost/waste. You can use a small cookie cutter for the lunch meat. Kraft makes cracker cuts I believe.

They are very bad. So - never. I never gave them to my kids. Read the box, OP.

Never. They are fucking gross.

Never! You can make your own.

PS - they were disgusting when I was a kid in the 80s.

Same meat from packaged packs of Kraft cheese and turkey, ham processed but only in circles.

I did this once. My kid complained about being teased mercilessly over it. So, never again.

Never once for camp.

(school mandates all kids eat its hot lunch)

Too much fat
Too much sodium
Nitrates and other preservatives

Just to start.

If your kid insist maybe once a week but I have seen parents send them every day and I cringe. They are so unhealthy! Do a quick google search to see what the experts say.

And it isn't balanced. Are you including fresh fruits and veggies as well?

High in fat, sodium and contain artificial flavorings and colorings. No actual nutritional value. I believed this to be universally understood. Is this actually news to you?
