Are you looking for a pre-school option in DC? School for Friends is a small, play-based preschool in Dupont Circle, and the deadline for applications . Founded in 1981, the school has been providing a rich, play-based curriculum for more than three decades. The teachers are engaged, attentive, loving and committed to the children. The Director is deeply committed to the school’s mission, stays on top of everything, and is very responsive. Families come from all different neighborhoods and backgrounds, which helps create a welcoming and supportive community. The school is deeply committed to diversity in several forms—family structure, economic status, race and ethnicity—and this commitment shows. | I believe that they will also take a child who turns 3 by December 31. We've had a fantastic experience at the school and couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically. |
