Is there *any* way to still get IKEA Akurum base cabinets?

| I need to temporarily remove some IKEA Akurum base cabinets from my kitchen. I know Akurum has been discontinued. In the even that they get damaged during the removal, I am concerned that I may not be able to buy new ones -- and I don't want to re-do the rest of my kitchen to match new cabinets. Can I still get Akurum cabinets from Ikea or someone else? I think I read somewhere that Ikea still keeps a stock of akurum cabinets to honor its existing warranty on them. (I don't mind paying for them). Does anyone know about it? Thanks! |

| Call the local IKEA and if all else fails search Craigslist and IKEA fan sites. We have Akurum too and I'm sad it's gone |
