Excessive sweating (Female)

I sweat excessively under my arms. It ruins clothes and is embarrassing as heck! Has anyone successfully dealt with this issue?

You can get botox OP. Apparently it works very well for this issue.

I lost weight. That made the most difference for me. I have tried several clinical strength deodorants and they do work better, but then I often just sweat more elsewhere. My current favorite is Secret. I like the clear ones so that I don't get any streaks on my clothes; however, they don't seem to work as well as the while solid sticks.

I also try to avoid fabrics that make me sweat more. In particular, I can't wear anything with silk in it.

I started doing this in my mid-40s.

Bathing at night and applying clinical strength deodorant/antipersperant at night will help.

Certain dry should help.

I'm not overweight and still sweat a lot

Opposite for me. Played sports regularly from jr high into mid-30s. Was drenched before warm ups were done. Saw several docs and they all tell me that I have a great system. Also they told me if I blocked sweat in one place, it doesn't stop the need for it to come out and cool your body. They also said I could run the risk of having the sweat come out in other places more. I'm no doctor but I saw two docs about it.

With a bit of more weight, I don't sweat nearly as much. :-/

Also a fan of certain dri. I will say that I think I sweat more in other places though since my underarms aren't an option, but it's not noticeable to others and really only happens on exceptionally hot days.

Are you on any prescriptions? I was taking an anti-seizure medication for a few years and had terrible underarm sweating. When I stopped the medication it went away. But I was desperate looking for a good deodorant and nothing worked. Sorry you are having this problem, it totally stinks.
