Backsplash?

What styles are in? What do you recommend for a small white kitchen?

Search blanco arabesque on Home Depot. There are similar sales in different sizes from every source. I prefer the larger, individual tiles like this from Lowes. Plenty of high end options if you want that too.

Bianco, not blanco, sorry

Also chevron marble tiles

We used gray subway tiles with a subtle texture.

For a very small kitchen, I think a backsplash that matches the countertops is best. It never goes out of style.

I hate mosaics, glass tiles and the granite lip that many people leave.

Avoid subway tile. In about 6 months, people are going to decide that they don't want their kitchen to look like a restaurant bathroom anymore.

i love subway tile, always have.
it's been around for quite awhile now so not sure it's about to go out of style.

Marble subway tile for us. The chevron marble looked too busy.

Exactly! Subway tile is about as classic as you can get. Not really a trend.

Mosaic glass seems to be really in style, but we don't like it and avoided it in our new kitchen. We went with classic white subway tile with grey grout.

I personally don't care for subway tile, but it is popular. I also dont like glass since I think it will soon look dated. I would go with marble I could afford it ( I cant)

Doesn't a marble backsplash get stained and etched just like marble countertops? I use my kitchen heavily and splatters sometimes happen.

Honestly... They make some really really cute peel and stick backsplash tiles now. Google them. They aren't much cheaper than regular stone tile, but much easier to install and remove. That way you can g whatever strikes your fancy and not worry about it being in style in 20 years.

Mine is sealed. No problems so far.
