We're getting ready to stage our house for a photoshoot to sell our house. Our cotton bedspread (comforter cover) is all wrinkled, and it takes forever to iron the entire thing. Any easy alternatives to getting the wrinkles out? |
How do you usually wash and dry it? |
You mean a duvet. I normally take my duvet out of the dryer when it's 85% dry. Then I put it on the bed, smooth out all the wrinkles. When it's slightly damp, the wrinkles come out easier. Then I use a clothes steamer and get it perfect. You can also iron directly on the bed if there's a bad wrinkle. |

Put it in the dryer with a damp towel. |
Thanks! Yes, a duvet, I knew there was a better word for it. I had no idea that wrinkles come out easier when something is slightly damp! |
Iron it ON the bed, just take the iron, turn the steam up, and run the iron over it lightly as it lays. |
The slightly damp works for all clothes. I take all of our dress shirts, polos and dresses out before they get completely dry. Then I hang them up quickly. You can always smooth wrinkles easier. |
