| I'm 4-5 days out from getting my period and feel like a beached whale. Just saw a photo of myself and I look heavy too. My breasts look enormous (I'm normally a b cup). How much weight do most people gain before their period? And any natural remedies do lessen Pms symptoms? Ever since having kids 3 years ago, my periods are horrendous and I'm super hormonal right before. A treat for everyone.... |

I can easily gain 5lbs or more. I purposely avoid the scale.
I actually have different bras to wear... Yay peri menopause. I really clean up my diet a week before - I find it lessens cravings, etc. |
| OP, this is me too. Cutting WAY back on sugar and salt at that time helps (even though I totally crave them). Also drink lots of water even though you feel full and bloated. |
| I can gain as much as 10 lbs. |
| A couple of pounds and easily one cup size. EASILY. All in my right breast. It's sexy. |
| Op here--thanks! I am usually a pretty clean eater and workout regularly but these last few months have been brutal. And to the pp who said its all in one breast--it's the same for me...ugh. But at least I'm not feeling insane.., |
| Well I certainly swell up like a balloon, but it never occurred to me to actually weigh myself on these days. I think I'd pass out from the horror. |
| I gain about 2 pounds. I increase my potassium and magnesium intake, watch my carbs (still eat 190g of carbs, just don't go over), and row 3000m every day. The rest of the month I do absolutely zero cardio and just lift weights. |
That was me. I don't just quad out from that one bra cup. I basically bust out of it. If I go up a cup size, though, the wire basically will cut into my other armpit. I own wireless bras for the time around my period and wear drapey shirts. |
