TTC and heavy clumpy periods

| I have a call into my doc. But thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has had a similar experience. I've been using opks and timing sex with ovulation for the past 4-5 months with no luck. My last two periods have been VERY different. Bright red blood with lots of clots and clumps. Period stays heavy for 7 days. I used to have heavy periods the first day or two and then light for a day or two but nothing like this. Any thoughts? |

| You might have had very early miscarriages...I think it's good you're seeing the doc. |

| It may be low thyroid. Have you had your thyroid checked? I'm hypothyroid and have periods like this. Even when on synthroid. |

| Are you sure you're ovulating? I had somewhat similar periods and determined that I wasn't ovulating. |
