Sleepy Hollow Elementary (Falls Church) Thoughts?

We are considering a house in Sleepy Hollow, but I wanted to get parents' opinions on Sleepy Hollow Elementary School. I understand it is Title 1 and have done some initial research on the school...but any firsthand thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I taught at this school (many years ago) and LOVED it. What a great school. I wish I could send my own kids there now. I don't know anything about how it is run now, though so no current knowledge.

PP here. I did some checking. The school is still using the parallel block/extension class model that they were using when I taught there. IMO this is what enables the staff to meet a wide variety of academic needs without shortchanging any student and without fragmenting instruction.

Thank you PP. So this is a good thing? I hear they might be going through budget cuts and as a result, may have to increase class sizes. I know what Title I schools are, but does this mean that the more qualified teachers go elsewhere for more money and resources? Sorry for the ignorance, but this is my first time around searching for public schools, etc. Thanks again.
