Takoma / Takoma Park Day Care - 18 month old

We are moving to Takoma Park in September 2015 from out of state, and we have a child who will be 18 months in September. I am trying to secure day care, and we are open to home day cares, centers, etc. Close to the Takoma Metro/Takoma Park Historic Center would be ideal. Thanks in advance for any tips!

The daycare market is tight in Takoma Park. I'd get on the wait list at TPCDC, but a spot is highly unlikely, and would call Paint Branch Montessori and ask to get on their mailing list for the new daycare they are opening in Takoma Park.

It's in DC, but there's a Spanish language daycare that people like called de Colores and another daycare called Our Emerging World that I've frankly heard kind of mixed things about.

There's a service called Monday Morning Moms that matches families with in-home daycare providers. My family had a good experience with the provider we matched with, but I've heard other families with complaints, so...
